Zakiyya Murtuza-Peeren

CEO

Zakiyya graduated with an honours degree in Law from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Prior to that she had successfully completed the International Baccalaureate at St. Clare’s College, Oxford. She has several post graduate qualifications in management, investments and human resources. Zakiyya has been a loyal servant of TTBISA since inception working as Manpower Development Director to CEO.

Rahman Murtuza

Group Chairman

Rahman has spent 28 years of his career with Sun International and nearly 40 years in the Gaming and Hospitality industry. As an MBA graduate himself, Rahman has applied his vast knowledge and experience of all aspects of the service industry to the creation of the Institute that provides extensive training courses of international standards.

His vision extends to creating an atmosphere of personal and intellectual growth that will produce leaders in gaming, hospitality and business management. These leaders will be able to thrive in a multitude of careers, both locally and internationally.

Rushmina Murtuza

Director of Legal Affairs

Rushmina completed her International Baccalaureate Diploma at St. Clare’s College, Oxford followed by a Law Degree (LLB with Honours) at Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom. She holds a Masters Degree in Family Research at the same University. She has been practising as a Legal Consultant for the past five years, specialising in Commercial, Family and Labour Law and recently completed her PhD in law.

Roxanne Newman

Head of Curriculum Development & Qulaity Assurance

An accredited facilitator and assessor with various Seta’s. She has a degree in hospitality and qualifications in promoting quality education. She is accredited as a facilitator and assessor/moderator with WRseta. She will ensure that the programme meets all the requirements of the seta and that it is easily taught and understood. She will also ensure an
appropriate induction programme is set out for learners easy absorption into the workplace.

Asamele Gqibitole

Head of Administration

Together with his staff, Asamele ensures that all contract deliverables are met including student training material, attendance registers, compilation
of information for student information database, scheduling of training and lecturers, booking of venues etc. He also ensure’s all students are registered with WRseta seta and that for audit purposes we have copies of all students documents in master files kept in fire resistant safe’s at our head office.
